2015 September - Frydenborg Ecologic sponsored and organized a seminar on the Apalachicola River and Bay that brought together scientists and stakeholders to discuss the health of the ecosystem and the proper path forward for future protection.
2015 June - Frydenborg Ecologic presented at the Florida Stormwater Association's annual conference. The talk discussed using Stressor Identification Studies in context of Florida's water regulations.
2015 March - Frydenborg Ecologic presented at the Florida Section of the American Water Resources Association. Beck's talk on “Official Measures of Lake Health: Water Quality Standards“ explained the scientific reasoning that resulted in the state’s current water quality standards, providing context to engineers tasked with designing systems to meet these regulations.

2014 September - Based on recent EPA actions, Florida's Numeric Nutrient Criteria (NNC) will become effective on October 28, 2014. As a principle author of the NNC Rule, Frydenborg Ecologic, LLC can assist you in complying with these complex regulations.
2014 March - Russ is recognized at the Florida Lake Management Society Annual Symposium as the recipient of the Marjorie Carr Award in recognition of his lifetime work on behalf of Florida's aquatic resources.
2014 January 8 - Federal Judge Robert Hinkle rules in favor of EPA’s modification of the Numeric Nutrient Criteria (NNC) Consent Decree. This significant legal action will allow EPA to rescind the federally promulgated NNC, which is the final hurdle for Florida’s NNC to become effective.
